What you’ll get with Verizon Business Internet
As with its residential plans, Verizon offers a great suite of 5G and fiber internet services for business shoppers. Fios fiber internet provides exceptional upload and download speeds, while 5G internet plans use cell phone towers for wireless business internet connectivity.
Here’s what you’ll get with each plan.

Verizon’s base pricing for its business internet plans is competitive, featuring four plans costing less than $100 per month. With Verizon’s business Fios plans, you’ll get standard fiber features like symmetric upload and download speeds, high reliability, and unlimited data.
If Fios isn’t available in your area, your most likely alternative will be Verizon’s 5G Business Internet plans. Verizon’s three business 5G plans offer solid download and upload speeds, although they come with the usual 5G caveats: real-world network speeds can vary depending on 5G tower traffic in your area. Still, they’re excellent deals and a great fit if you simply need basic internet coverage for a few devices or employees.
That said, Verizon’s business plans are behind the competition in a few areas. Notably, its Business Fios plans require you to purchase or rent (for $18/mo.) a router from Verizon. Competitors like AT&T typically bundle a router with your business internet plan, so expect to pay a little more on top of your monthly internet rate. You can get a free router with Verizon’s 5G plans, but confusingly, this offer is only available with its 100 Mbps and 200 Mbps plans.
Additionally, its Fios business plans also include a two-year contract. Although Verizon’s lengthy price guarantees make this go down a little easier—they range from one to 10 years depending on the Fios or 5G plan—we’re generally against early termination fees and contracts because they limit consumer flexibility.
