The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France, and will host professional divers at the Aquatics Centre.
The divers will compete from July 27 to August 10, starting with synchronized diving and ending with individual categories.

Trials for the Team USA diving team is June 17–23
Over eight diving events, 12 Americans will qualify to fight for gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics—six for synchro and five for individual. Trials to become part of Team USA for divers will be held June 17–23.
The U.S. won’t have athletes take part in the synchronized men’s platform event, but based on the trials, we will send our top team for the other three events.
And guess what? The USA is famously the best at diving, winning the most medals at 141. So don’t miss out on greatness.

Team USA will send five individual divers to the 2024 Olympics
Once trials are over, we’ll let you know who will be making a big splash. Right now, we can tell you that the U.S. will send two men and two women to compete for gold in the springboard events. Only one American man or woman will go after a medal in the platform event.

How many Olympic diving events are there?
There are eight events in total—four for synchronized diving (two for men and women) and the same for individual categories. Each team and individual has the opportunity to compete in the 3m springboard and 10m platform events.
