Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart & Kenan Thompson

In this eight-episode series, comedians Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson guide us through the Paris Olympics with Olympic-themed in-studio competitions, conversations, and interviews.

The series’ first episode premieres Friday, July 26, following the Paris Olympic Opening Ceremony. Subsequent episodes will come at a rate of 2–3 per week through Sunday, August 11.

Gold Zone

Gold Zone is a “whip-around show” that highlights the most exciting live moments across up to 40 Olympic events happening simultaneously. The show—hosted by Scott Hanson, Andrew Siciliano, and Matt Iseman—premieres on Saturday, July 27, and airs daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET through Saturday, Aug. 10.

Watch with Alex Cooper

In this interactive program, Cooper, the host of the popular comedy and advice podcast Call Her Daddy, and special guests (TBA) provide real-time commentary and answer fan questions while watching Olympic events in a picture-in-picture presentation.

The first episode debuts Sunday, July 28, at 3 p.m. ET, when the U.S. Women’s soccer team takes on Germany. A second episode airs Thursday, August 1 at 12:15 p.m. ET, during the women’s gymnastics all-around event.

It’s unclear whether or not fans actually want this additional content, some of which seems beneath the Olym—Wait . . . am I really about to say these programs kinda cheapen and clutter a longstanding tradition of friendly international competition?

Yeah, it’s way too late for that gripe. Have it your way: Watch Peacock’s side programming if you like your Olympics drowned in extra sauce—or, if purity is your thing, focus only on the athletes and events.
