What schools are in the SEC football league?
Ahead of the 2024 NCAA season, Texas and Oklahoma joined the Southeastern Conference, bringing the total to 16 teams. Texas and Oklahoma are apt additions, as they are prestigious programs. The SEC made history as it expanded to 16 teams in 2024—the most this conference has ever stretched. For now, the SEC has an eight-game format, but there are discussions about moving to a nine-game schedule in the future to allow for more conference matchups.
