Get ready for even more NFL International Games in 2026
NFL fans, be sure your passports and Duolingo subscriptions are up to date. The NFL is sending nine games across the globe this season as part of its International Games series.
The annual matchups are a great way for domestic and international fans to see NFL teams in some of Europe and South America’s biggest soccer arenas.
Need to refresh your Deutsch? Getting ready to say “queue” instead of “lining up”? Want to see South American cityscapes without having to pack? We’ve got everything you’ll need to know about the NFL’s International Games for the 2026 NFL season.
The 2026 NFL International Games schedule up close
For this year’s International Games series, the NFL will feature nine matchups across seven countries throughout the season. Before setting your alarm for an early kickoff, here’s how to watch every international NFL game.
Watch San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne
The 49ers and Rams get the first NFL International Game on the schedule this season during Week 1.
San Francisco is coming off a solid 12-5 season that ended with a blowout loss in the divisional playoffs. The Rams, meanwhile, finished with the same record last year, but were less than a touchdown away from playing in the Super Bowl.
The fact that this is the first-ever NFL game in Australia is interesting enough. But what’s even better is that the 49ers and Rams are division rivals, so there’s sure to be even more electricity on the field.
Watch Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro
The Ravens and Cowboys are set for a rare matchup between teams in different conferences. The two franchises have met only seven times, with Baltimore winning six of those meetings.
This is the third straight year the NFL will play a game in Brazil. But it will only be the second time ever that quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott have faced off.
Both teams had losing records in 2025. But this Week 3 matchup in South America could be an early indicator of just how formidable the teams can be this season.
Watch Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders in London
The Colts and Commanders both endured disappointing seasons and injuries to key players. But the hope is that both teams can bounce back and make some noise in 2026.
Jayden Daniels is likely to start at quarterback in this game after having an injury-plagued 2025 season. His absence is a big reason the team only won five games last year.
For the Colts, Daniel Jones is recovering from an Achilles tear. The team re-signed him in the offseason in hopes that he’ll recapture some of the magic he showed before the injury.
Watch Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London
Big Ben might be tiny compared to this game. The reigning AFC South champion Jacksonville faces off against the reigning NFC East champion Philadelphia.
Neither team got past their respective Wild Card games last year. And while they’re in different conferences, the Eagles and Jaguars will have plenty to prove all season, let alone just this game.
Not for nothing: This matchup marks the second time the Eagles and Jaguars will play each other in London. The previous meeting came in 2018, when Philadelphia topped Jacksonville 24-18.
Watch Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars in London
The second Jaguars game in London is against their AFC South rivals, the Houston Texans. This game should be a doozy.
Just one game separated Jacksonville and Houston in the standings last year. In the past four seasons, each team has won the division twice.
It goes without saying that there’s a lot at stake in this Week 6 matchup.
Watch Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints in Paris
This game in Paris is another first for the NFL’s international showcase, and it features a Pittsburgh Steelers team that will be in Year 2 of Aaron Rodgers at quarterback.
The Steelers were a solid team last year and finished 10-7. They face off against a Saints team that finished at the bottom of the NFC South in 2025.
On paper, this seems like a game that wouldn’t be that intriguing. But Paris has a way of making you fall in love with just about anything.
Watch Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons in Madrid
The NFL heads to Spain for the second year. This time, the two featured teams will be showcasing youth and potential.
Both the Bengals and Falcons had losing records in 2025. But when you have Joe Burrow on TV, that makes things interesting by itself.
Also, something to watch is how new Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski is doing leading the team.
Watch New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions in Munich
When the Patriots and Lions meet in Germany, it’ll be the first time those two teams have played against each other since 2022.
That year, both teams won fewer than 10 games. But going into 2026, New England was in the Super Bowl, and Detroit has been a force over the better part of the last three seasons.
The quarterback battle between Drake Maye and Jared Goff alone is worth the price of admission. But both these rosters are very good, and this game has instant classic written all over it.
Watch Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City
This game against the Vikings in Mexico City marks the 49ers’ second international game of the season. It also marks the league’s return to Mexico for the first time since 2022.
In terms of the matchup itself, Minnesota has beaten San Francisco in each of their last two games. But the Niners had a better 2025 season than the Vikings.
If Minnesota turns things around this season, we could be in for an exciting matchup to close out the NFL’s 2026 international slate.
Best TV plans to watch NFL international games
The NFL’s international series spreads its broadcast rights across several different networks, but catching all nine matchups is simpler than it looks. To stream the entire 2026 international schedule, you only need two subscriptions: Netflix and a robust live TV provider that carries CBS, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network.
While Netflix secured the exclusive streaming rights to this season’s kickoff game in Australia, the remainder of the global slate relies heavily on traditional broadcast channels and cable. Bundling those local networks with NFL Network is the most efficient way to track the overseas action without flipping between more than a couple of different apps.

Netflix ($8.99–$26.99/mo.)
Because Netflix secured the exclusive rights to the Week 1 kickoff between the 49ers and Rams in Melbourne, you’ll need a subscription to catch the very first international game of the season. Following a price increase in March, Netflix plans now start at $8.99 per month for the Standard with Ads tier and go up to $26.99 per month for the Premium tier.
Fortunately, Netflix doesn’t gatekeep its live events. You can access the live NFL game regardless of which tier you choose, making the entry-level ad-supported plan a budget-friendly option if you’re only tuning in for the football broadcast.

YouTube TV ($82.99/mo.)
If you’re into the NFL, there’s really no service out there like YouTube TV.
For the international games specifically, most of them will air on NFL Network. YouTube TV carries that channel. Three of the games are on local or national broadcast networks like CBS, FOX, and NBC. You can get those channels with the live TV streaming service as well.
And if you’re an out-of-market fan, YouTube TV is the exclusive distributor of NFL Sunday Ticket. So it covers so many of the bases.

Watch NFL International Games for free
Nationwide, three of the international games will be available for free with a standard digital antenna: Ravens-Cowboys in Week 3 (CBS), Patriots-Lions in Week 10 (FOX), and Vikings-49ers in Week 11 (NBC).
Outside of those broadcasts, watching the rest of the international slate for free depends heavily on where you live. Thanks to the NFL’s local broadcast rules, if you live in the primary TV market of a team playing in an exclusive streaming or cable game, you will be able to watch that matchup on a local, over-the-air station. For example, the Week 1 exclusive Netflix game will simulcast on a local broadcast channel in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles markets.
All games available on traditional TV channels are also free to watch using a live TV streaming trial. They’ll also be available with an NFL+ subscription, which is the cheapest way to score 24/7 NFL Network access.
