Will “Eric & Jessie: Game On” End After Season Three?

“Eric and Jessie: Game On” premiered on the E! Network in Sept. 2013 and quickly became a reality show favorite for many fans around the globe. However, fans may have seen the last of NFL pro Eric Decker and his country star wife, Jessie James, when it comes to reality television.

Although there has yet to be an official statement regarding the future for “Eric and Jessie: Game On,” James recently spoke out, hinting that the show’s second season, which concluded on May 4, was likely their last.

In a new interview with Good Day NY, James was asked about the upcoming season of the series by co-host Rosanna Scotto, who wanted to know if the dynamic of the series would be different now that James and Decker have relocated to New York.

“We haven’t even discussed whether we are going to do a season three or not,” James explained to Scotto of her future with E! “We have a baby girl now, and I’m not sure I want her to be around all that. If we leave now, it’s probably a good time.”

Co-host Greg Kelly then joked that he wouldn’t want James and Decker to become like the Kardashians, to which James replied, “No, no, we don’t either.”

As for why their show isn’t as dramatic as others, James revealed that she and her husband simply aren’t all that dramatic, and even though some might say that a little drama would be good for ratings, playing a part for the cameras isn’t something James is open to.

“There’s never drama on our show because, realisticly, we’re just not dramatic people and if anyone ever tried to get us to do anything like that, we just wouldn’t be interested,” James explained.

While James didn’t come right out and say that the show was definitely over, she sure didn’t leave much hope, telling the co-hosts, “It’s done. Season two is all finished,” when they played a clip from the finale episode.

If the pair did decide to go through with a third season, fans would be in for a treat as they are now a family of three, with daughter Vivianne, and have been living between two cities.

“We split our time between here and Nashville, so we bought a home in Nashville so we’re trying to get that ready and then we are going to come here and get this place ready, so he’s been commuting back and forth on the weekends, but we’ll be here full-time soon,” James said.
