The cast of “Jersey Shore” may not be appearing in their hit MTV series any longer, but they continue to live their lives in the public eye. From landing their own spinoffs and starting clothing lines, we wanted to see what all of them are up to now. Yes, even Angelina Pivarnick.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
Sorrentino sure loves his reality TV! He was featured on the 11th season of “Dancing with the Stars.” But it didn’t end there. The Situation is now starring in his own show, “The Sorrentinos,” on WEtv. The series follows Sorrentino and his family, including his brothers, sister and mom, as they run a tanning salon in New Jersey.
After filming on “The Sorrentinos” season one wrapped, Sorrentino was arrested and charged with assault after reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with his brother, Frank.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
The Situation wasn’t the only one to show off his reality dancing moves. Snooki appeared on season 17 of “Dancing with the Stars.” Polizzi stars in “Snooki & JWoww” with Jenni “JWoww” Farley. The series is the second “Jersey Shore” spinoff by MTV and was renewed for its fourth season earlier this year. She has written and released three novels: “A Shore Thing,” “Confessions of a Guidette” and “Gorilla Beach.”
Polizzi is engaged to Jionni LaValle and the couple plans to wed in October. They currently have one child together, Lorenzo Dominic, and are expecting a daughter to join their family around the same time they’re set to tie the knot.
Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio
Delvecchio was the first “Jersey Shore” star to receive his own spinoff series, “The Pauly D Project.” The series followed Delvecchio’s career as a DJ and aired on MTV for one season.
In October 2013, Delvecchio announced he was the father of a baby girl, Amabella, born months earlier. Delvecchio reportedly met the child’s mother while working as a DJ in Las Vegas.
Despite not appearing on TV, DJ Pauly D isn’t shying away from the spotlight. He still DJs and has released three singles of his own, most recently “No Tomorrow.” He also released “Night of My Life” and “Back to Love” over the past couple of years, giving all of us reasons to fist pump at the club.
Jenni “JWoww” Farley
Farley released a clothing line, a fragrance and line of tanning lotions after “Jersey Shore.” She also wrote a book, “The Rules According to JWOWW: Short-Tested Secrets On Landing A Mint Guy, Staying Fresh To Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb.”
During filming on her and Polizzi’s reality show, “Snooki & JWoww,” Farley and Roger Matthews, whom she met while filming “Jersey Shore,” got engaged. The couple is still engaged and welcomed their first child, Meilani Alexandra, on July 13, 2014.
Magro landed a deal with Xenadrine and shed some weight. Years later, he gained the weight back, but has again returned to diet and exercise and slimmed down.
Earlier this month, he confirmed that he and his longtime girlfriend, and former “Jersey Shore” co-star, Sammi Giancola, broke up after several years of on-again, off-again dating.
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola
As mentioned, Giancola and Magro recently split and this isn’t the first breakup for the couple, both during and after “Jersey Shore.”
After her time at the Shore, Giancola launched a line of fitness apparel with SXE Fitness. The clothing line made its debut at New York Fashion Week in September 2012. That same year, Giancola released her own fragrance, Dangerous.
Guadagnino is dedicating his post “Jersey Shore” time to acting. In the last few years, Guadagnino made guest appearances on “90210,” “Hard Times of RJ Berger” and “The Gate of Fallen Angels.”
He also had his own talk show, MTV’s “The Show with Vinny,” and released a book, “Control The Crazy.”
Deena Nicole Cortese
Cortese started on the series in season three. Since then, she became the spokesperson for Stacker 26 Hour Energy Drink and is reportedly working on developing a clothing line.
She is scheduled to return to reality TV on September 10 in VH1’s “Couple’s Therapy” with longtime boyfriend, Chris Buckner. In May 2014, E! News announced the fifth season’s cast, citing Cortese as one of the show’s stars.
We all remember this girl who made an early exit from the series. Well, she’s back, but not with any of her former crew.
Pivarnick filmed a new TV series, “The Familia,” earlier this year. According to a report, the show will air its first season from 2014-2015, although no premiere date is set yet. She is also filming an adventure film, “Mr. Blue Shirt: The Inspiration,” which is due out later this year.
In 2012, Pivarnick appeared on VH1’s “Couple’s Therapy” with her boyfriend at the time, Chris Nirschel.
After the last episode of “Jersey Shore,” many viewers likely thought the cast consisted of wild partiers who would fade away without their reality show payday. But, as we can see, that’s not quite the case. In addition to remaining in the public eye, much of the cast went on to create successful business empires for themselves, and a lot can be said for that kind of staying power.
