Season 3 of The Walking Dead Wasn’t Supposed to End That Way


Remember when we watched Milton (Dallas Roberts) turn into a walker and die during the Season 3 finale? The actor recently revealed that the final scenes between him and Andrea (Laurie Holden) were reshoots done months after showrunner Glen Mazarra announced his intended departure from the show. Turns out, the scene that was initially planned would have featured Milton choking Andrea with a chain, only to pass out, turn into a walker and ultimately have Tyreese find her.

In the final version that aired we saw the whole group find Andrea and were able to both witness and feel the intense emotions.
