When it comes to Porsha vs Kenya, fans saw plenty on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion.
Throughout the filming of season six, Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore feuded among themselves and with their cast members, and once they came face-to-face at the reunion, things got ugly quick, resulting in a full-on altercation between the two women.
As cameras rolled, Moore shouted at Stewart through a bullhorn and pointed at her with a scepter, as if to deem herself royalty. During their confrontation, Moore pulled Stewart’s marriage to her ex-husband, Kordell Stewart, into question and accused Stewart of cheating. Eventually, Stewart had enough, lunging at Moore and pulling her off the stage by her hair.
After the attack, a 911 call was made by Moore and Stewart was sent home, leaving the rest of the ladies to hash out the season — and to react to the dramatic turn of events of Porsha vs Kenya.
Meanwhile, the internet exploded with the shocking details of Stewart and Moore’s fight and fans everywhere wondered if either party would be fired for getting physical. And while Bravo remains silent in regard to who will be returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season for season seven, an insider close to the show recently told E! News it is “highly doubtful” both Stewart and Moore will return.
In the weeks after the fight, many of Stewart and Moore’s co-stars spoke out, revealing whose side they have taken.
On her website, cast member NeNe Leakes took the side of Stewart, claiming it was Moore who initiated the attack by provoking her.
“I’ve sat through many reunion shows, but this one takes the cake for me!” the former Dancing With The Stars contestant wrote. “My feelings are simple! You TAUNT, you INVADE people’s personal space, you PUSH, you PROVOKE, you LIE and yet you don’t condone violence! I feel like I’ve been put in provoking situations all season! [Like] allowing Kenya to pull my ear during the ‘All White’ party in episode 1. When is it ‘okay’ to BULLY someone, then question retaliation?”
Phaedra Parks also took Stewart’s side, telling Andy Cohen, “Kenya has a way of provoking people. She’s a big bully. She talks a lot of talk and cannot walk the walk.”
Cynthia Bailey, on the other hand, sided with Moore, telling fans violence is never the answer, regardless of the circumstances.
During an appearance on Bethenny, Kandi Burruss also discussed Porsha vs Kenya, proclaiming Stewart should not be fired for what she did.
“If you’re going to let someone go, it shouldn’t be because of that,” Burruss explained. “It’s been other things to happen that people didn’t get fired for. So, I don’t think it’s fair to do that to her. It was a lot going on… She was pushed. She definitely was provoked.”
Clearly, most of the cast is on Team Porsha, but because Stewart was the one to take things to a physical level, she may be on the chopping block. While most would argue she was most definitely provoked, there’s always another option aside from violence.
If Stewart is in jeopardy of losing her spot on the show, producers may have some drama on their hands because earlier this month, it was reported the majority of the cast is threatening to quit the series if Stewart is fired.
