Khloe Kardashian will soon be returning to television in Logo TV’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
Just over a year after wrapping up her gig as co-host on NBC’s “The X-Factor,” Khloe made a deal to appear as a guest judge on two episodes of the upcoming sixth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
During the 2014 edition of the series, 14 all-new drag queens will battle it out for a $100,000 cash prize and the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar.” The cast includes Adore Delano, April Carrion, BenDeLaCreme, Bianca del Rio, Courtney Act, Darienne Lake, Gia Gunn, Joslyn Fox, Kelly Mantle, Laganja Estranja, Magnolia Crawford, Milk, Trinity K. Bonet and Vivaciou.
“This season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ is perfect for viewers who want to ‘butch it up’ after watching a month of Olympic figure skating!” RuPaul announced in a statement earlier this month. Along with the announcement was a photo featuring RuPaul, the show’s host and executive producer, with Khloe.
“I’ve been a huge fan of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ for years. Every episode is packed with glamour, beauty secrets and fashion – all things I love!” Khloe told Us Weekly. “It really was a dream come true to be a guest judge this season. My favorite part was working with RuPaul who is a legend and getting to know the contestants – they are all so talented. I am cheering for them all!”
Also scheduled to appear on season six as guest judges are Neil Patrick Harris, Adam Lambert, “Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey, “Exorcist” star Linda Blair, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, comedian Heather McDonald, rappers Eve amd Trina, Leah Remini, Jaime Pressly, Paula Abdul, David Burtka and designer Bob Mackie. “Community” star Gillian Jacobs, Broadway legend Lainey Kazan, comedian Bruce Vilanch, Chaz Bono, and Us Weekly’s Entertainment Director, Ian Drew will make guest appearances as well!
In October 2012, Khloe and Mario Lopez were named as hosts for “The X-Factor” and starred alongside one another for the show’s second season. However, when the show returned for a third season, Khloe was gone and Mario took over as a solo host.
Currently, Khloe and her family are starring in the ninth season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” which airs on Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. on the E! Network.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season six premieres on Monday, February 24th at 9 p.m. on Logo TV.
