5 People We Were Shocked to See on Forbes’ Highest Paid TV Actors List

In August, “Forbes Magazine” released its list of richest TV stars. In addition to the obvious actors making the list, like Ashton Kutcher, Patrick Demsey and Neil Patrick Harris, many names surprised me. These are the five that shocked me the most. 1. Mark Harmon: $19 million Sure, “NCIS” is a great series. If it weren’t, it wouldn’t be going on its 12th season. But, because it has been around for so long, it is “off my radar,” in a sense. That being said, Harmon appears to be totally deserving of his massive payday – he’s been playing Leroy...

A “Full House” Reboot: Could It Happen?

“Full House” could be following in the footsteps of “Boy Meets World” with a reboot of its own. In June, “Girl Meets World” debuted on the Disney Channel and quickly became a hit, both with today’s youth and with their nostalgic parents. Two months later, the series was renewed. Now, fans everywhere are looking to keep the good times rolling with a reboot of fellow T.G.I.F. series “Full House” and, according to new reports, they may soon get their wish. Not only do “Full House” reruns continue to bring in stellar nightly ratings for Nickelodeon, but the show has also increased in viewership in the last year. Plus, the fact that “Girl Meets World” did so well in its first season is a good sign that a reboot of “Full House” would follow suit.   Cast Members Returning According to an August 28 report by “TV Guide,” John Stamos is at the forefront of the potential reunion, with Warner Brothers TV right behind him. Bob Boyett and Jeff Franklin – the original executive producers –  are “actively involved,” as well. Expected to return to the series are Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier and Bob Saget, which isn’t surprising. Typically, when the cast reunites, these are the cast members involved. Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen are rarely seen with any of their former cast members, but...

Exclusive: Producer John Irwin on Season 5 of “Couple’s Therapy”

In an email interview with, the Executive Producer of “Couple’s Therapy,” John Irwin, also President of Irwin Entertainment, is dishing on what fans can expect from the upcoming fifth season. “We really focus on finding couples with various types of intense issues affecting their relationship and of course they need to be open to engaging in the therapeutic process,” he said. “Quite a few solicit themselves to be on the show.” Once cast, the couples move into a treatment center together. Nearly immediately, drama ensues. Think “The Real World,” but with all cast members dating within the group. “This year the one word to describe the cast would be volatile,” Irwin said. ”One minute a couple will be in the corner kissing and the next they will be at each other’s throats. It’s an interesting combination this year because while some are on the verge of breaking up, others are trying to merely define their relationship.” Reportedly featured on the show’s fifth season are Jenna Jameson and John Wood, “Big Brother” star Dick Donato (Evel D) and Stephanie Rogness-Fischer, “Jersey Shore” star Deena Cortese and Chris Bucker, Naughty By Nature’s Treach and Cicely Evans, “The Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell and one yet-to-be-announced mystery couple. Of this couple, Irwin said people are going to be “shocked!” “This season there seems to be more [bickering] than usual,”...

Why Actors are Leaving Hollywood (and Why Some Come Back)

The entertainment industry can be a cutthroat business, but for many, the risk outweighs the reward. In recent years, several actors and actresses have walked away from Hollywood in favor of regaining normalcy, but not everyone could stay away. Below, we’ve created a list of the recent actors who’ve left entertainment and revealed why they made the choice. 1. James Denton Denton spoke to People Magazine, explaining his recent move from Los Angeles to a simpler life between Minneapolis and Montana. After starring on “Desperate Housewives” for several years, Denton decided to get out of town and focus on his most important role of all – dad. “I wanted to get my kids out of L.A.,” Denton said. “We live in a small town. It’s quiet and peaceful, ideal for really connecting with my family. It was definitely the right decision for us. I only have one chance to be a good dad to them.” Since moving, Denton continues to work on television projects and films, but claims he is now “more choosy” than before. Denton’s latest project, “Stranded In Paradise,” airs on the Hallmark Channel Aug. 16 at 9 p.m. 2. The Sprouse Twins In 2011, Dylan and Cole Sprouse severed ties with the Disney Channel after starring in “The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody” from 2005 to 2008, and its spinoff, “The Suite Life on Deck,”...
