10 Years Of Celebrity Heroin Related Deaths

Widely acknowledged as one of the most talented actors of our time, Philip Seymour Hoffman battled with demons of his own for years, until meeting an untimely February 1st death caused by heroin overdose. Hoffman’s death has been covered extensively, with news outlets sharing insights about the dangerous “Ace of Spades”-labeled heroin found in the actor’s room. But we must not forget that heroin is no new drug; this abuse epidemic has taken at least one celebrity life – along with countless others – every year. The list would be far too long to name them all, but let’s take a moment to remember celebrities from the last 10 years that we’ve lost to America’s silent assassin.
